The bell has stopped. The symbols have not finished speaking.

During a tower inspection, a hospital custodian finds the facilities director dead beside a dismantled chime mechanism. A damaged comfort-kit packet is linked to the killer. Its identifying name is lost, but the arrangement of its symbols survives.

A case to settle into

Stone arches and an uneasy silence frame an entirely human mystery. Compare the kit symbols, names and original neighboring rows to narrow the register. The icons work in black and white, and the case asks for observation rather than medical or supernatural knowledge.

How you solve it

1. Read the case and the key to the records.
2. Apply the clues and cross out entries that break a rule. Position clues refer to the original rows, even after those rows are crossed out.
3. Check the one remaining name against the separate Solution file when you are ready.

Time and format

Plan for approximately 4–6½ hours of active checking across as many sittings as you like. This range is calculated from the suggested sequence of row checks, not timed player testing. Reading, note-taking and finding neighboring rows add time.
