Saltbox House — Reading & Planning Companion

Read the historical Saltbox House with its dimensions, schedules and source boundaries clearly recorded. This English reading and planning companion follows three-sheet Plan 7021 in the NDSU archive. The complete original drawing is free; its official link is inside.

What's inside

A 22-page English US Letter PDF and START_HERE.txt in one ZIP. Three worked example sections cover a dimension chain, window-schedule scope and a fictional supplier offer. Four reusable manual records cover source scope, components, offers and decisions. No original drawing sheet is included.

How to use

Download the exact free three-sheet source using page 2 and keep it beside the workbook. Follow the named views, then print or annotate the records. For historical-house readers and people preparing a planning brief; use a PDF reader, calculator and ordinary notes. Records are static pages for manual use.

Good to know

This is a planning workbook, not construction drawings or an engineer-approved design; check local codes and permits before building. Source labels do not certify current floor area, basement use, structural suitability or order quantities. Prices in the exercise are fictional. The cover illustrates a workbook. For personal or internal planning use; do not publicly share or resell the added workbook.

Delivery

Digital download after purchase; no physical book, house, drawing set or materials. Extract the ZIP, read START_HERE.txt and open the PDF with your usual viewer. For file help, contact support@peekcraft.com.
