Make a small pear with a rounded green belly, one leaf attached to the side of its brown stem and a tiny stitched smile. This Little Pear amigurumi crochet pattern uses US terms and low-sew construction for a cheerful shelf decoration or handmade gift.

What's inside: a 19-page English PDF guide with written instructions for all 24 body rounds, stitch refreshers, diagrams and assembly steps; a separate 2-page quick-reference PDF repeating guide pages 18-19; and START_HERE.txt. The quick reference is a duplicate print summary, with no additional pattern pages.

How to use / Who it's for: adventurous beginners who can follow continuous rounds, count stitches and sew small pieces. Skills include magic ring, ch, sc, inc, invisible dec, hdc, dc, sl st and basic embroidery. Use smooth DK / light-weight cotton, about 100-125 m per 50 g; begin with a 2.5 mm hook and adjust to a firm, gap-free fabric. You also need stuffing, a marker, yarn needle, scissors, pins, ruler and embroidered eyes or approximately 6 mm plastic eyes.

Good to know: estimated size is 8-9 cm tall including the stem, 5.5-6 cm wide, with a 2.5-3 cm leaf, based on 24 sc and 24 rounds per 10 cm. Allow approximately 25-30 m (10-15 g) pear-green yarn, 2 m brown, 2 m leaf green, 1.5 m pink and 1 m dark embroidery thread, plus extra for a separate swatch. These are shopping estimates including tails and a reserve; size and use vary with yarn, hook and tension. For decoration; keep small components away from young children. Spot-clean gently, reshape and air-dry, following your yarn and filling care labels. Personal making and gifting only; do not resell or share the digital files. Edition 1.0.1.
