How to use / Who it's for: intermediate crocheters comfortable with ch, sc, sl st, turned rows, colour changes, whipstitch and short backstitch seams. Measure washed fabric and draped widths, round up, follow indexed joins and baste around the actual kit before final sewing. Use smooth DK cotton about 100-125 m per 50 g with a 3.0 mm starting hook, plus a ruler, tape, needle, markers, scissors and basting thread. No lining, zipper, button or carry strap.

Good to know: at an assumed 25 sc and 30 rows per 10 cm, the default open panel is about 35.2 by 25.3 cm including a 6.7 cm guard; the body is about 18.7 cm high. Actual contents and washed fabric decide fit. Allow Oatmeal 175-195 m (70-98 g), Sage 160-180 m (64-90 g) and Honey 45-55 m (18-28 g), plus 40 m per colour for the three separate large swatches. Estimates include sewing, tails and reserve; changed counts need recalculation. The 20-stitch cover overlaps the centre of the wider notions front and can leave side gaps. A closed thin packet around 6 by 4.5 by at most 0.3 cm is a calculation example to baste around, not a capacity promise. Keep tiny notions contained and sharp tools in a separate rigid case.
